JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop complete civil & structural packages as part of construction packages.
- Develop civil & structural drawings and documents, such as underground details, foundation drawings, structural design, connection details, installation details as appropriate.
- Able to perform the calculations to develop the civil & structural design.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- E.I.T or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Project Manager and Project Engineers on multidisciplinary projects (Process, EI&C, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Piping etc.)
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and act as owner for client
- Evaluate, analyze and in some cases create project cost estimates & scopes. Focus on cost control during execution stage. Forecasting monthly project spend as needed.
- Manage delivery of work to required standards which may involve procuring estimates, review of quotes, preparation of order specification, review of vendor drawings & review of instruments included in proprietary vendor packages. Review engineering designs, design systems and instruments within own discipline and solve problems related to these
QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering degree from an accredited college program (Mechanical or chemical preferred)
- 5-7 years project management experience in a refinery/chemical environment
- Familiarity with all aspects of the project lifecycle
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC, API 650
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of the process design effort including tracking performance against the budget.
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs.Develop material and energy balances.
- Sizing and specification of process equipment.Process development experience in greenfield, capacity expansions, retrofits and debottlenecking projects.
- Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOP), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or What-If experience is desired, with facilitation experience a plus.
- Perform hydraulic calculations/pipe sizing.
- Experience in medium to heavy industry including refinery/chemical/renewable energy.
- An understanding of the gated project execution procedures such as Front-End Loading (FEL).
- Participate in and assist with Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Relief valve sizing and specification.
- Working knowledge on the use of process simulation software programs such as ASPEN, HYSYS or similar.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) degree.
- 5+ years of demonstrated Process Engineering experience in a multi-discipline environment in the energy, chemical and/or oil and gas industries.
- Demonstrated experience as a Lead Process Engineer, supervising other process engineers, and mentoring younger process engineers.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes/practices such as ASME, ANSI, API and similar.
- Demonstrated experience working with AutoCAD and related programs for the development of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Demonstrated experience with engineering duties on multiple simultaneous small to medium sized capital projects.
- Demonstrated collaborative work experience working with multi-discipline teams.
About the Position
- The Project Manager will be a “working” project manager who will supervise and coordinate all project disciplines, including process, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, electrical and instrument/controls. The ideal candidate will have substantial career experience in the refinery, chemical or petrochemical industries, and be an expert in project management methodology, with a proven record of accomplishment of successfully and safely executing multi-discipline projects capitalized from $250,000 to $15 million plus, with multiple projects occurring simultaneously.
Technical Knowledge
- Experience with accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and safety on projects
- Experience with executing projects utilizing 3D technology including facilitating value-adding model reviews
- Demonstrated experience with gated project execution procedures such as Front End Loading (FEL)
- Extensive experience with project scope development and interfacing with engineering personnel, construction, operations, reliability, maintenance, HSSE, and environmental departments
- Demonstrated experience with MS Project a plus
- Procurement and Construction exposure a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- MBA or Engineering Management degree a plus
- Professional Engineer’s license a plus
- Previous experience with piping systems, pressure vessels, rotating and fixed equipment, and structural systems is a plus
- Minimum 10 years experience in the refinery, chemical, or petrochemical industry
- Must be TWIC card certified or eligible (depending on project)

About the Position
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will perform all phases of electrical related projects from conception through start-up and delivery, including electrical system model development and evaluation, specification of electrical distribution equipment, development of construction package drawings, serve as a point of contact with client personnel and support startup and commission efforts. The ideal candidate should be familiar with development of control systems and be able to support inhouse I&C engineering efforts.
Technical Knowledge
- Develop complete electrical drawing packages as part of construction packages
- Develop electrical drawings and documents that include one-line drawings, power plans, hazard classification maps, cable routing (cable tray/raceways), cable & conduit schedules, grounding and lighting plans (including photometric studies)
- Specify and select electrical distribution equipment (Switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPSs, etc.)
- Develops technical, scope, and cost aspects of proposals
- Provide General Electrical Engineering
- Perform SKM calculations
- Direct quality checking for all deliverables
- Advanced/specialized training and experience relating to the discipline of interest
- Ability to prioritize tasks by frequency and importance
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer License required. May consider EIT who can obtain in one year
(5) to (20) years demonstrated Electrical Engineering experience in a multi-discipline environment in the energy, chemical and/or oil and gas industries - Demonstrated experience as a Lead Electrical Engineer, supervising other Electrical Engineers, and mentoring younger Electrical Engineers
- Required knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry design standards
- Familiarity with electrical related software such as SKM or ETAP
- Increasing ability to perform electrical system related calculations such as short circuit analysis, arc flash evaluation and development of arc flash remediation strategies
- Increasing knowledge of unique or specific problem-solving approaches
- Increasing ability to apply knowledge in broad areas of assignments, especially projects concerned with unique or specialized problems
- Low to high voltage familiarity (480VAC to 25Kv)
Non-Technical Skills

About the Position
- The Senior Piping Designer will lead and execute a project from start to finish. Project execution includes proposal preparation, manhour estimates, client interactions, and distributing work to other designers. The qualified candidate will be a self-starter, independent and adaptable.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficient at AutoCAD, including 3D
- Demonstrated experience in the development of piping and plant layout drawings and documents that include general arrangements, orthographics, isometrics and overall 3-D design
- Experience with P&ID and PFD development
- Detailed understanding of 3-D design approaches including such fundamentals as layering, libraries, etc
- Knowledge in the translation & transition from P&ID’s to piping design documents
- Knowledge in developing complete mechanical systems & piping related drawing packages as part of construction packages
- Core understanding of multi-dimensional disciplines
- Ability to create and manage documents such as piping index, valve lists, installation details, utility details & manifolds, location details, pipe hangar details, specialty details, pipe shoes, and other pipe stress-related information. (Pipe stress performed by pipe stress engineers – designer implements in the design based on guidance)
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical/process piping design
- Petrochemical refinery/chemical/pipeline industry experience
- Experience with equipment layout/piping and pipe support design & construction packages
- P&ID and PFD development
- Orthographics/Isometrics/3-D models
- A strong understanding of the piping codes & standards including API, PIP, and ASME
- TWIC card required or ability to obtain
- Ability to work in heavy industrial environments

Job Description
- We are looking for a motivated Piping Design Drafter to join our Design Drafting Group. In this role, you will work closely with onsite engineers to create and update piping designs, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new isometric and design drawings for retrofit projects and new systems based on engineered field walks and scope of work.
- Use Autocad 2D
- Collaborate with other design drafters (instrumentation, P&ID) to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Participate in the development of capital project packages, including Issue for Approval (IFA), Issue for Construction (IFC), and As-Builts.
- Submit estimates for Electronic Work Requests (EWR) detailing hours to complete work.
- Conduct field walkdowns for drawing verification and maintain familiarity with onsite Refining Engineering Practices (REPs) and relevant standards..
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite required: 40 hours per week during core business hours (M-F, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and willingness to learn Blue Cielo/Meridian and SPI (electrical/instrumentation).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must meet all site entry requirements, including maintaining a clean-shaven appearance, holding a TWIC Card, and completing yearly contractor training.
